Did You Know?

The Arizona Museum of Natural History in Mesa, AZ has timely exhibits and ones that often have not been displayed anywhere else in the valley. One such example is, “Hohokam! Ancient Monuments of the Salt River Valley”, educating the public about ancient Egyptian temple mounds.

Tempe Town Lake which is the terminus of the Salt River is the biggest Valley Urban Fishing Lake, right near downtown Tempe, it is easily accessible and near great shopping venues on Mill Avenue. Tempe Town is stocked regularly with Trout and Bass during the winter, and Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Sunfish, Tilapia, Carp and Channel Catfish throughout the year.
